We bought adventure bikes and realized that the dream of riding unpaved roads, sliding through corners, and leaving a cloud of dust instead became finding dead ends, trying to get our hands on GPX files, and spending more time trying to find the roads than riding them.

We fell in love with adventure riding. The forest roads, the unpaved, the different types of gravel. Learning to relax to be able to flow across big stones and learning to be agile and loose on the technical parts, becoming one with the bike in a more rough environment.

We have ridden a lot, on different adventures, enjoying (afterwards) having pushed the 200 kg bike through water-filled ditches and never getting dry. The excitement when riding the last tricky path to the night’s sleeping place, lighting a bonfire and taking the first sip.

For us, adventure riding broke the barriers; there is rarely a road or a path we can’t ride or reach. No more turning around because of surface. And an adventure bike is just as fun as anything on tarmac roads.

That’s why we built Curvy Mode, which is by many considered the best of them all. With adventure riding, and riding motorcycles in general, riding behaviour shifts. For many reasons, from feelings to needs. And we don’t want to fiddle with multiple apps. We want to use Stegra for every ride, any time. With the heart in the adventure and the challenges that come with it. Everyone benefits.

By pleasing the toughest segment Stegra pleases the world of riders, no matter the preferred surface, riding style, bike or device.

This reflects most riders; sometimes you want to ride gravel, sometimes chase twisties, sometimes ride an old country road at a slow pace on an old kustom.
