What’s up

Yesterday, we sat down for a longer session to look back at what we’ve done and what’s coming ahead. Pretty cool that what started as just a concept web planner roughly two years ago is now what we do full-time.

We’ve grown on all platforms this year as well, beyond what we expected (but of course as we hoped). Reports of bugs and “how does this work?” questions have dropped to a minimum, even though we now have many more users than ever before. That wasn’t what we saw coming, but it’s a good thing. It lets us focus on feedback, suggestions, and pushing new ideas.

Of course, some users still run into issues, and we’re working on them. If you experience any problem at all, please let us know. We don’t want anything slipping through.

Behind the scenes, we’ve also done some groundwork, modernizing structures as well as stabilizing Android. On crashes and performance issues, we’re now performing significantly better than before — a huge step forward.

Overall, with a solid Studio 2.0 and a global 4.8/4.7 rating on iOS and Android, we’re heading in the right direction.

What’s cooking right now?

• Add your own POIs in the apps and make all POIs interactive
• Collections in the apps, more languages, more controller support, reverse routes, etc.
• Round trip feature coming soon — not just by distance but also by time. Works with every route mode.
• Report barriers, fallen trees, road closures, and more to help fellow riders and improve the experience
• See distance to the next POI, more ride details, and a slider for Curvy Mode
• A larger secret initiative is in the works — more on that later

What’s coming later?

Offline routing and group rides are planned after the features above. Right now, we prioritize based on the feedback we receive and what’s most requested. If there’s something essential to you, please tell us!
